For those who dream of playing golf on beautiful, top quality courses
in an ideal, year-round climate, La Manga Club is perfect destination. La Manga
Club has always been synonymous with golf and with three 18-hole championship
golf courses, a first rate golf academy, 18-hole par 47 course and extensive practice
facilities, it is hardly surprising that it has been voted Europe’s top golf
resort three times in the past five years.
The championship North and
South courses meander between palm trees and lakes with both 18th greens finishing
beside the hotel.
The highlight is, without doubt, the sensational South
Course, which has just undergone comprehensive refurbishment with a number of
improvements to layout and design and is now one of the fairest tests of golf
one can find.
The North course with its tighter fairways and larger greens,
was also fully refurbished in 2001. This undulating course provides a stern test
of shot-making for golfers of all levels, demanding a particularly deft touch
on the green.
The West Course is well-established and set in the pine clad
hills with lush scenery, winding fairways and numerous changes in elevation, which
present a challenging alternative.
Additionally there is the beautiful
Par 47 pitch and putt course.
At the heart of the resort is golf academy,
with up to the minute facilities run by a friendly team of PGA-qualified teaching
professionals who are available all year round to help improve your game or get
you started.
